We offer two courses. one for beginners and the second as an intermediate course.

This Course is designed for those who have attended a Taster Day, or who have some experience in Glass-blowing.
Build on the skills you have acquired and spend a day, with the help of our Master Glass-blowers, creating your own designs.
Numbers on each course will be very stricly limited, so that you will receive individual attention in order to get the most from the course.
You may wish to concentrate on one technique, or else improve your skills across a range of styles. The purpose of the Intermediate Course is to help you develop your own ideas, and using the expertise of your Tutor, to learn the best practical methods to achieve your ambitions.
Each course runs from 10.30.a.m. to 4.00.p.m., with a break for lunch. We will provide all the equipment needed, and plenty of hot and cold drinks!
Each course will cost £175 for the day, which will include the use of all equipment and materials, the constant encouragement and supervision of your Tutor, and also the articles that you produce, which you can take away the next day.

Thankyou for expressing an interest in our Glass Blowing Courses. Each day lasts from 10.30.a.m. to 4.00.p.m., with an hour and a half break for lunch. (You may wish to bring your own sandwiches, or else visit one of the numerous cafes and restaurants in Bedminster, within two minutes walk.) We will provide you with plenty of hot and cold drinks.
You will be provided with all the equipment you will need for the day, and at the end of the course we can send to you any items which you have made at for a flat rate of £10.
You should wear loose comfortable clothing, and sensible stout foot-wear. Open- toed sandals or shoes are not advised.
You will be in a small group, (numbers on our courses are always strictly limited) so that you will receive individual tuition and attention. However, we do ask our students to follow closely all the instructions of their tutor. Molten glass can obviously cause injury, and although we carry comprehensive public liability insurance, we want you to remember the day for all the best reasons!
There is ample public parking outside and very near the workshop, and ‘Bus Service Nos. 52, 53A, 75, 76, 90, 121, 511, 672 stop in Dalby Avenue, alongside. Temple Meads Station is just over a mile, and Bedminster Station is within a hundred yards. Please ask if you need further directions.
Please note that although this course does not require great physical exertion, those with heart conditions or respiratory problems are urged to be cautious, since glass workshops are warm environments, which may lead to a feeling of faintness in some people. However, we welcome all students above the age of 16, and we are confident that you will have a thrilling and fascinating day.
Cancellations Policy. If you have to cancel a course for any reason, we will offer a full refund for more than 4 weeks notice. Alternatively, you may choose to alter your booking to a subsequent course, if there are places available. For less than four weeks notice, but more than two weeks, we will either offer a 50% refund, or an alternative course date if one is available. For less than two weeks notice, we will try to offer alternative dates, but if no alternative date is available, we regret we will be unable to offer a refund.
